Itinerary

A typical full day combines village paths, terraces and valley walking. The exact route is selected for your accommodation, trail conditions and the plan confirmed for your date — not one fixed circuit for every departure.

Full day on the trail

Depending on conditions and your guide’s route choice, one possible walking direction may be from the Bản Đôn area toward Hiêu, while another option may head toward Kho Mường. These are route examples rather than fixed mapped circuits — one is chosen for your dates, not both in a single day. Hiêu here means the area or village direction in general; walking toward Hiêu is not a fixed visit to Hieu Waterfall, which belongs to the Nature & Cultural journey when conditions allow.

  • Morning: leave main roads for valley trails, terraces and village paths on the confirmed option.
  • Midday lunch at a local home or simple restaurant.
  • Afternoon walking continues on the same option — forest and steeper approach apply only on the Kho Mường option.
  • Late-afternoon finish; return per your confirmed pickup and drop-off.

Difficulty — Easy

Village paths and countryside trails at a relaxed pace — not steep forest climbing. Classic is still graded Easy: a full day means more walking time, not automatically greater technical difficulty than Half-Day. On the Bản Đôn–Kho Mường option the path becomes steeper nearer Kho Mường; that applies to that route option only, not to every Classic departure.
