What should you expect from a homestay night?
Expect a night in a local home after a day on village and countryside paths — village rhythm, not a separate resort product on this site.
The stay belongs to the walk you book. The Homestay Trek page is the product itinerary; this note is only what the overnight means and what you should not assume from a photograph.
The house can vary
These two overnight walks usually do not use the same stay. The house can vary with the route you request — we do not treat the nights as always identical or never shared.
We do not publish one named house, one room layout, or one bathroom standard here. Those details, when they matter to you, belong in the written confirmation for your dates.
Homestay Trek and Off-path nights
The Homestay Trek and the Off-the-Beaten-Path Trek use different walking routes. They are not the same itinerary under two names.
Because the routes differ, the overnight stop usually differs as well — still without an always-or-never rule.
Meals at the overnight stay
On Homestay Trek and Off-the-Beaten-Path Trek, lunch on both walking days is part of the arranged programme, and dinner and breakfast at the homestay are served by homestay staff. The exact meal is confirmed in the written itinerary. Those two walks are the only programmes this sentence covers.

Do homestays always have a private bathroom, hot water, WiFi, or phone charging?
No. Private bathroom, hot water, WiFi, charging, room layout and meal setup can all vary between overnight stays — they are not one universal Pu Luong homestay standard on this site.
Homestay Trek does not mean one fixed house or one host-family setup every time. The stay used on your booking is confirmed in writing before you pay, including the room and facility details that matter to you.
Bags and the walking day
Where main bags go on an overnight walk is a luggage question, not a room-facilities question. Confirm bags when you enquire.
